Confessions of my withdrawal

Thanks for visiting my blog, Serving Bread. Here you'll read stories, insights, reflections and ramblings from a campus minister, father, husband and Jesus-follower. If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to the RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Rhoda, Ruth and I just finished watching the last episode of Season 2 of “Lost“. For the past month, the three of us have bonded over popcorn, Coke Zero and back-to-back-to-back episodes of “Lost” (Seasons 1 and 2). For all of you fans out there, please help! I don’t know what to do with these feelings of withdrawal? How will I survive these next few months? For all of you who have figured out how to wait, please let me know, for this poor soul has lost his addiction! (And I thought that “Alias” and “24″ were addictive…)

Well, you could read the book by an author who went down with Oceanic Flight 815.

“Author Gary Troup delivered the manuscript for his hotly anticipated thriller, Bad Twin, just days before he boarded doomed Oceanic Flight 815. Watch the recently uncovered video clips of Gary Troup on Book Talk interviewed by Laird Granger talking about the controversy surrounding his mysteriously out-of-print first book, The Valenzetti Equation, and his new novel, Bad Twin.”

I have no advice to give, dude. Only empathy. I feel your pain. The only thing I can think of is possibly trying to strand yourself on a deserted island. But I’m not sure that’s worth it.
