Thank You, Thank You

I am at a loss for words for being given the honor of “Man of the Year” by Time Magazine. There were so many important and notable people in 2006, yet Time thought that I deserved that award more than Muhammad Yunus of Grameen Bank (he deservedly won the Nobel Peace Prize) or Bono of U2 who stewards his popularity to fight AIDs in Africa. The “Man of the Year” is me because I matter more than the famous and infamous. I always knew that the world is all about me (Sorry Rick Warren, but Time disagrees with you). Thank You Time. It’s about time (no pun intended) that someone noticed me.

Yeah, it was a really weird choice. Bono won last year, by the way. I would have given the Person of the Year to Kim Jong Il.
