This is how we bond

Thanks for visiting my blog, Serving Bread. Here you'll read stories, insights, reflections and ramblings from a campus minister, father, husband and Jesus-follower. If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to the RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

WiiWe have had the Nintendo Wii for two weeks now, and I can’t complain with the number of hours we have logged playing with this game system. We only have one game–the sports pack–and we’re not sure we’ll be buying any other games anytime soon. I love being a part of the game and love how much Rhoda and I play together and against each other.

The last game system I owned was a used Nintendo Game System (and a used Atari system before that). At first, it was a little weird for a couple of 30-somethings to own this system (let alone to stand in line at Target to pick up the toy), but after I realized that 30 is the new 20, I got over it quickly!

So friends, come over and play with us!

DUDE. How could you have a WII for so long and not tell me about it? I see a WII all-night-fest in our future when I’m in LA next month.

When can I come over? I’ll bring Carey and Rhoda can convince her that it’s important for us to buy a gaming system.
